Project R.E.A.C.H.
This new program at TTI is designed to meet the needs of the increasing number of young
children diagnosed with autism or similar disorders. Project R.E.A.C.H. (Reinforcing
Educational Advancement in Children) uses a variety of methods to help parents set up an
individualized, home-based program.
Project .R.E.A.C.H. consultants are trained to provide
an assessment of the child's strengths, abilities, and learning needs, then work with the
parents to develop and monitor a treatment strategy. They can also serve as a resource
to families who are considering the use of one or more specific treatments. This
home-based plan targets all of the child's learning needs from social skills, to
communication, and academic skills.
